Acquisition of Hold Engineering Ltd

NIS Holdings Group is today pleased to confirm the acquisition of West Cumbria based engineering firm Hold Engineering. As the parent company of NIS Ltd, NSG Environmental and Petrie Technologies, the move is a key milestone in our strategy to further develop and grow our nuclear service capability.

Hold Engineering has been based on the Sellafield site for over 15 years, offering fabrication, installation and decommissioning services to a broad range of clients. Founder and former owner John Hold, will be staying at the helm of the organisation as General Manager reporting directly to the NIS Group Managing Director, Richard Penrose.

We are fortunate that Hold Engineering, and the NIS Group organisations already share a passion for safety and quality and we would like to offer our assurance to all of our clients that our high standards of service will continue as the transition of Hold Engineering progresses.
