Many companies research and develop the capabilities of dielectric heating technologies. Petrie goes one step further in applying these technologies to real life applications in commercial environments where return on investment is always critical and has to be short.

We do this at a competitive cost and in a way that ensures our customer’s risk exposure is always kept to a minimum.

This is no easy task when many of our clients come to us with little or no idea how our technologies can be used in their processes and what the advantages can be. We can show them how they can maximise profitability and minimise costs in simple steps.

With full product lifespan capabilities in house, Petrie can work with you through the whole process, from the first idea generation meeting to starting production on your new machinery.

Our projects are all different. However, they all follow a similar pattern:

  • Brain Storming

  • Refining ideas

  • Designing development tests

  • Conducting trials

  • Refining the process

  • Design and build pilot systems

  • Design and build production systems

  • Install / commissioning

  • Support / training

At each stage of the project we use the stage gate process to determine what success would be at the next step. By doing this we can divide a large development project into manageable parts.

We work under strict confidentiality with all our clients by nature of the novel processes we develop. We also understand the financial implications of such a product on your business and work with you to supply our services in an affordable way. Many of our projects have dramatically changed our clients’ market positions.

Standard Products – Anything but Standard!

Many of our clients want a process specifically designed for them. Others would like an ‘off the shelf’ way of getting the benefits of dielectric heating without the investment in a full project.

For this reason, Petrie has developed a number of in house standard products using our know-how and novel technologies. These products have been designed specifically with the user in mind. They can usually be installed with little or no assistance from us and little or no training is required in their operation.
