Operating from the same geographical site, Petrie Technologies Limited maintains the environmental system administered by NIS Limited and so we are able to ensure that we provide the same high standard of environmental protection and awareness throughout our operations.

NIS Environmental Policy

NIS are totally committed to the care of the environment and this goal is achieved at all levels through the operation of an integrated management system which is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impact of our activities, our products and services, in line with BS EN ISO 14001:2004, BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. It is maintained by a series of internal audits, management review and independent external audits.

An integrated management system manual has been produced, reflecting the aims of senior management and demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, continuous improvement and prevention of pollution where appropriate, that includes procedures to ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

Procedures are in place for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets, based on a systematic process of evaluation.

This policy is reviewed, documented, implemented and communicated to all employees and is available to the public and any interested parties through our web site.

The Managing Director is ultimately responsible for the operation of the integrated management system within the company. The company has appointed a management representative who has the responsibility and authority delegated to him for all matters pertaining to the integrated management system.
